Scholarships at St. John's College
St. John's College Scholarship & Alumni Scholarship
New and returning students are encouraged to apply for the St. John's College Scholarships for the 2013-2014 academic year. Scholarships are made possible by our generous donors. A qualified student must demonstrate finanical need which is determined through the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). In addition to the FASFA, a qualified student must demonstrate academic integrity and a desire to be fully engaged in the rich teachings and heritage of St. John's College, Department of Nursing. All completed applications must be post-marked by May 3, 2013.
Students who are related to an alum from St. John's College, Department of Nursing (mother, father, sister, brother, grandparents, aunt, or uncle) can complete the same application to apply for St. John's College Alumni Scholarship.

Theresa M. Vann Memorial Scholarship
The Theresa M. Vann Memorial Scholarship was established by her family to honor her memory and dedication to Nursing. Mrs. Vann graduated from St. John'sSchool of Nursing, now known as St. John's College, Department of Nursing. She was a long term maternal child faculty member at St. John's College. In 2011 Mrs. Vann was selected by the St. John's Alumni Association to receive the 2011 Distinguised Alumni Award.
To apply, you must be a student who will have enough credits for senior status as of Fall 2013. Faculty members who are pursuing their doctoral studies, may also apply for the faculty scholarship. Please review the application for further scholarship information and criteria. All completed applications must be post-marked by May 3, 2013.

St. John's Hospital - Nursing Student Scholarships
The Nursing Student Scholarships sponsored by St. John's Hospital provide funding for educational expenses up to a maximum of $10,000.00, or $5,000.00 per year for the individuals listed below:
- St. John's colleagues
- Children of St. John's colleagues
- Nursing students at St. John's College, Department of Nursing
- Nursing students enrolled in the accelerated or completion Bachelors of Nursing programs
Scholarships applications must be received by June 15. A limited number of scholarships are awarded each year. For additional details please call (217) 757-6839.
