St. John's College Alumni Association members include graduates from the diploma school and the College Nursing program. The Alumni publishes the ECHO a newsletter with information about Alumni, the College and the Hospital Sisters of St. Francis twice a year. Among its many activities, the Alumni sponsors several fund – raising activities each year such as the Alumni Raffle, the Phonathon and benefits designed to raise funds for student scholarships, faculty development and projects that enhance or improve the student educational experience.

The total number of nurses graduated from St. Johns School of Nursing and later the St. Johns College of Nursing is 3,254.  Since 1979, the largest class was 69 students in 1985 and the smallest class was 7 students in 1993.   To date there have been 2,652 graduates from the School as diploma graduates and a total of 602 graduates from the St. Johns College of Nursing.

Each year, the College joins with the Alumni Association to honor the 50 year, 25 year and 10 year graduates at the annual Alumni Banquet. The Alumni Association Officers are now planning for the 2010 Annual Banquet.

Teresa Vann, an esteemed Alumni member, former faculty member and nurse was honored at the October, 2009 Alumni Banquet. Mrs. Vann donated a hand made Nursing Cape, from the 1930’s to the Alumni Association. Alumni members had an opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for this Cape at the banquet. The proceeds are being used to start up a Teresa Vann Scholarship Fund. The goal is a total of $10,000.00, the amount required to begin this fund.
