Brenda Recchia Jeffers, PhD, RN
named new chancellor for St. John's College

Her distinguished 34-year career in nursing and academic leadership includes 11 years as an instructor and associate professor at St. John’s College and six years as a clinical nurse and nursing service educator at St. John’s Hospital.

St. John's College sponsored by the Hospital Sisters of St. Francis, offers innovative programs to prepare individuals for patient care, with uniquely small classes, individual attention for students and an enviable array of clinical experiences ranging from birth and wellness to care of the dying.  The College has continued its proud legacy of excellence for over 140 years.

St. John's College is located on the campus of St. John's Hospital, in Springfield,Illinois.
